NFL Week 5 was a week of blunders and a couple thunders. Let’s look at these 3 games:
- Bengals vs Packers: OT and Kickers
- Chargers vs Browns: Shootout City
- Rams vs Seahawks: The Rams are SB Bound
The Bengals Evan Mcpherson and Packers Mason Crosby combined to miss FIVE FIELD GOALS in this game. It was sent to OT in which Crosby missed his first kick, but Mcpherson also missed his, giving Crosby a redemption chance that he easily made to beat the Bengals.
The Chargers and Browns were apart of a major shootout, the score being 47-42 Chargers. The game came down to the last few minutes, when the Chargers Austin Ekeler scored his 3rd total TD of the game with 1:31 remaining to seal the deal for the Chargers. Mike Williams, another star of the game for the Chargers, had 2 TDs. Justin Herbert had 5 total TDs for the Chargers as well. For the Browns, stars of the game were Kareem Hunt with two and Nick Chubb with 161 yards and a TD. Both teams are playoff bound, so we’ll see what happens until then.
Lastly, it’s the team I have been talking about all year: the LA Rams. With Matt Stafford and company, they are still undefeated at a 5-0 record. Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods lead the WR core, as well as RB Darrell Henderson Jr for the ground game. The Seahawks are a very good offensive team, but LA handled them easily 26-17. Russell Wilson was lost to injury midway through the game, but it wouldn’t have mattered in this one. Robert Woods was the star, racking up 12 catches for 150 yards. Both Henderson and Sony Michel had a TD on the ground.
