Like I said yesterday, I went to the Reds game last night and man was that fun. We got there around 5 so we could chill and try and catch some BP balls (which we terribly failed at) and then it was game time.

The Reds pulled out a 3-1 win against a Walker Beuhler led Dodgers.

The MVP of the game was Kyle Farmer, who hit a 2 run double in the bottom of the 6th, scoring Joey Votto and Nick Castellanos. Farmer also had a double in the 5th, which allowed him to score off a Tucker Barnhart single. Farmer was officially 2-3 with 2 RBIs and 1 run scored.
Other players of notice were Luis Castillo (6.1 IP, 5 hits, 10 Ks) and Joey Votto (1-2, 1 run, 2 walks)
One major news piece from this game is Jesse Winker, who in his first game back went 0-3, re-injured his ankle after being hit by Corey Knabel. He is looking like he will at least be out for the rest of the regular season with that injury.

Here me call some of the game, including Kyle Farmer’s 2 run double on my podcast, Sports Card Second, this Monday!
…when we get the 2nd Wild Card spot…

Too bad about Winker.
